Our Pastors at RCN

Our previous lead pastor, Jerry Carter, retired on July 12, 2026. We are currently in the process of finding our next lead pastor. In the meantime, Pastor Dan and Pastor David have agreed to continue supporting us with their ministry.

Pastor Daniel Lewis
Executive Pastor, Interim

Pastor Daniel Lewis, an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene since 2006, has been serving as Executive Pastor for Richland Church since December 30th, 2019.  Pastor of Pomeroy Church From March 2009 – December of 2019, also served on staff at Kennewick Church for 5.5 years prior.

Married to Bobbi, they have three children – Karissa Wade (husband - Michael, and two sons – Collin and Theodore), Taylor Lewis (wife – Charlene) and Joshua Lewis.

Pastor Dan enjoys being involved in many ministries of the church – Worship, Sunday School, and Pickleball. Pastor Dan has served on district level committees or boards: Board of Ministry, NMI Council, SDMI Council, Nominating/Finance committee, Speaker and Worship Leader for Children’s Adventure Camp, and Tech Team and Worship Team for Celebrating Generations (district assembly).

Dan & Bobbi enjoy watching movies, hosting gatherings at their home in Richland, and traveling to visit their grandchildren.

Pastor David Gossett
Family Pastor, Interim

Pastor David Gossett was born and raised in Southern Idaho and graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 2006 with a B.A. in Missions with an emphasis in Business.

In September 2006, David began serving as the Youth Pastor at Susanville Church of the Nazarene in Susanville, CA. David was ordained as an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2010. After 7 years in California David moved with his family to Oregon where he was called to Pastor the Church of the Nazarene in Arlington. While there he volunteered as the Chaplain for the emergency services of Gilliam County. In November of 2021 David joined the team here at Richland Church of the Nazarene.

David enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, serving our first responders through his work as a Chaplain, and learning.
