Join us in our Aldersgate Worship Gathering
at 5:00 pm on Saturday evenings in the Fellowship Hall.
First Saturday of the Month- Acts of Kindness
Second Saturday of the month- Family Table
remaining Saturday will be Aldersgate Encounter
This ministry of our church grew out of a desire to develop a community that speaks to our mosaic culture. Our goal is to be missionaries in today's world and to communicate and reveal the message of Jesus in a way that our culture can understand. Some have said that this is "church for people who don't like church." In our worship gatherings we don't just talk about Jesus, we encounter Him. We would love for you to join us. Our Higher Grounds Coffee House provides the casual backdrop for this weekly event. The worship is sensory, participatory and holistic in nature. The focus is on being community, journeying together on the road of life, discovering the mystery of walking with Jesus. Our music is lead by our Aldersgate Band, a mix of people from diverse backgrounds. You'll find us open and inviting to people from all walks of life.

You'll find a cross at the center of where we sit. This is intentional. It communicates a reality in our community. The cross is placed in the center because what it stands for is central to our faith and our reason for gathering. We meet in the Fellowship Hall at 5pm; then out to the community doing random acts of Kindness
Second Saturday of the month- Family Table

This Saturday Feb 11- Come and "Break Bread" at the Lord's Table with us! The meal this week will be tacos! Homemade tortilas (both corn and flour) & meat will be provided. Please bring a topping such as cheese, onions, lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes, avocados or your favorite topping!

Remaining Saturdays- Aldersgate Encounter
Response and reflection are two things that we encourage and facilitate in our gatherings. God's Spirit and Message are not meant to remain on the surface, but are supposed to penetrate deep into our hearts impacting how we live on a day to day basis. It is for that reason that we do our best to communicate these truths in a variety of different ways and draw people in as participants rather than observers.
Discover a place where children and families can encounter God & respond through:
Wonder & awe , Play,
Imagination, and Art
Children encounter and respond to God in a variety of ways—some through art, others through music, while others through movement, words, or with another. The time that they spend in worship with the community of believers impacts their own growth as a follower of Christ; it is a time in which they are formed and shaped in Christ. Because of this, we have created a space that will help our children and their families as they worship God together. Come & check it out!
Another element that we desire to be characteristic of our gatherings is our openness to and desire for dialogue and questions. Unfortunately, for many people the "Church" is not perceived as a place where questions and discussion are welcome. We encourage questions and dialogue, especially in relation to following Christ. Please feel free to participate in our blog and attend the discussion group that takes place in our fellowship hall at 5:00 pm on Saturday evening. It is yet another "safe" place for elements like questions and discussion which are so important in our journey as followers of Christ.
